- Production and assembly of weaving machines
- 100 % of the weaving machines are assembled at the Lindau plant, and approx. 80 % of all individual parts are manufactured here.
- All DORNIER weaving machines are “Made in Germany”. This allows us to offer our customers the highest possible quality, durability and flexibility.
- No two weaving machines are the same – each one is designed and built individually for the customer's purposes in close consultation with them.
- Around 460 weaving machines are produced and assembled every year.
- 1-, 2- and 3-shift operation
Sustainability
- Our photovoltaic system supplies us with our own electricity from 2,169 solar modules on 4,236 m² and generates 800,000 kWh of electricity per year (for comparison: A 4-person household consumes around 4,000 kWh per year).
- The majority of the electricity generated is consumed by the company itself and around 3% is fed into the public grid.
- As a result, we save 300 tons of CO 2 per year – every German produces an average of 10.4 tons of CO 2 per year.
