As the winter season begins, it offers a reminder of the early applications of modern composite technology. On the first DORNIER glass weaving machines delivered to Genin & Cie. (now Hexcel), fabrics were produced that were used for Rossignol racing skis as well as materials for aerospace applications.

These developments illustrate how versatile composite solutions were from the very beginning and how relevant they remain today across various industries – from lightweight construction to new mobility concepts.

We wish you a pleasant and peaceful holiday season. ✨
