Field service technicians – mechanics (m/f/d)

For the department „Installation of Special Machines F10/W3“ in our Esseratsweiler plant we have several immediate vacancies for:

Field service technicians – mechanics (m/f/d)
film stretching lines

 

Tasks:

• long-term installations of complete plants at our customers worldwide
• repairs on special machines worldwide
• in-house assembly of machine components
• preparation of plant components of special machines for customer acceptance on our premises
• organisation of workflows on installation sites
• instruction of external staff on installation sites
• assistance in commissioning of special machines at our customers worldwide
   

Requirements / Profile / Other:

• completed professional training as a metalworker (m/f/d) / industrial mechanic (m/f/d) / mechatronics technician (m/f/d) or comparable qualification with field service experience in European and non-European countries
• experience in installation of special machine components and plant parts
• competent handling of common measuring and testing equipment (levelling device, theodolite, ...)
• competent handling of complex drawings and parts lists
• good knowledge of PC applications and MS Office
• understanding of mechanical processes in machines and plants
• good English language skills
• independent, cost-conscious thinking and working
• high quality and safety awareness
• ability to work in a team, also with an international staff
• high willingness to travel worldwide for short-term and longer stays abroad (China, India, Pakistan, USA, Europe, ...), sometimes for several months at a time until the plants are completed
