Lindau/Weingarten, November 18, 2009 – The Virtual Factory Baden-Württemberg (VFBW) is growing with Lindauer DORNIER GmbH as a new member of the corporate network. This company produces high-quality weaving machines and specialty machinery for customers all over the world. Together, the associated companies of the VFBW intend to increase their local presence.

May 2011 - ORW Technology – Techtextil Innovation Prize 2011
An international jury awarded the Techtextil Innovation Prize in the category New Technologies to Dr. Adnan Wahhoud for the Open Reed Weave (ORW) Technology. He is the Research and Development Manager at Lindauer DORNIER GmbH. Several application examples will be shown in a special area at the Techtextil.

June 2009 - Chinese CIFU successfully commissions 6th DORNIER film stretching line
Company Zhejiang Euro-Asia Film Material Co., Ltd. (CIFU), one of the most outstanding polyester film producers in China has been producing on four DORNIER film stretching lines since the beginning of 2005. In May 2009 the second stage of expansion has been completed with the starting up of two additional lines.

It has established the international breakthrough of Lindauer DORNIER GmbH as a weaving machinery manufacturer: The DORNIER rapier weaving machine. Delivered for the first time in 1967, the 50,000th machine left our Lindau factory in April 2008.
