Faster, more flexible, better quality The air-jet terry weaving machine ServoTerry® newly developed by DORNIER is made for a wide range of applications: Hand and bath towels can be produced just the same as materials for leisure time, sport, and beachwear. The ServoTerry® is based on the stable basic concept for the proven DORNIER air-jet weaving machine. DORNIER offers the new development of the air-jet terry weaving machine ServoTerry® for the terry sector: The direct drive of the terry movement using a servomotor allows setting varying pile weaves and infinitely variable pile heights when the ServoTerry® is running. The machine meets the highest demands on fabric quality, provides a soft terry impact where, at the same time, the warp end break level is unusually low. Proven concept The ServoTerry® is based on the basic stable concept of the DORNIER air-jet weaving machine: On the air-jet terry weaving machine as well, the PIC® -System (Permanent Insertion Control) with ServoControl® developed and patented by DORNIER continually monitors electronically the most important elements of the filling insertion. This sets new standards in quality and process reliabilty.
