Precisely timed to the 12th five-year plan (2011 - 2015) the Lindauer DORNIER GmbH presents itself at the ITMA Asia + CITME 2012, which takes place from 12. - 16.06.2012 in Shanghai, with two main focuses.
March 2012 - Techtextil North America 2012
Lindauer DORNIER GmbH is proud to be part of the Techtextil North America in Atlanta. The pioneering technology “made in Germany” and its weaving machines have always been aware of the importance of technical textiles.

Already for the 6. time, Lindauer DORNIER GmbH is present at the exhibition Inlegmash in Moscow. You will receive comprehensive information about the DORNIER system family at Textima’s and DORNIER’s joint stand FE 105 in the hall “Forum”.

The Lindauer DORNIER GmbH, as family company producing solely in Germany, focuses on innovation and sustainability. Our motto at the ITMA 2011: DORNIER weave-by-wire®. New developments can be seen in all three application areas domestic textiles, clothing and technical textiles.
May 2011 - ORW Technology – Techtextil Innovation Prize 2011
An international jury awarded the Techtextil Innovation Prize in the category New Technologies to Dr. Adnan Wahhoud for the Open Reed Weave (ORW) Technology. He is the Research and Development Manager at Lindauer DORNIER GmbH. Several application examples will be shown in a special area at the Techtextil.

The highlight of ITMA 2007 in Munich is now in practical use. With the forward-looking, patented drive and control concept, over 300 DORNIER weaving machines with FT control have been in daily use in a variety of applications, since its introduction into the market during the 2009 customer days.

September 2010 - Versatile research subject EasyLeno®
The EasyLeno® technology of Lindauer DORNIER GmbH was established seven years ago and since then has constantly been developed further. It is the subject of various research projects on the part of textile universities or research and development institutes.
June 2010 - New film stretching plant for mf-folien
The Lindauer DORNIER GmbH supplied one more film production line for biaxially oriented polyamide film to a local company. Polyamide (PA) film in general is used for food packaging. Also in the sector of film production lines for different materials DORNIER is one of the global market leaders, though nearly 100 % of these plants are sold abroad.

With optimistic expectations Lindauer DORNIER GmbH looks ahead towards the upcoming ITMA Asia + CITME 2010 taking place form June 22 – 26, 2010 for the second time in Shanghai. Expectations are very optimistic thanks to the worldwide recovery of the economic situation.

Since the market launch of the DORNIER PX in Brasil in 2008 this machine has been faced with a very good demand.

The Lindauer DORNIER GmbH, enjoying a worldwide reputation as producer of film stretching lines, for the 18th time will attend this year’s Chinaplas, which will take place from April 19 to 22, 2010 in Shanghai.
February 2010 - DORNIER weaving machines for the textile museum
He has woven net(work)s and strung threads together, and Egon Wirth is still at it – just like a real “Dornian”. The recently opened Bayerische Textil und Industriemuseum (tim) also benefits from the involvment of the previous Marketing manager. And Peter D. Dornier, Chairman of the Company Management of LiDO, is proud of it.

Lindau/Weingarten, November 18, 2009 – The Virtual Factory Baden-Württemberg (VFBW) is growing with Lindauer DORNIER GmbH as a new member of the corporate network. This company produces high-quality weaving machines and specialty machinery for customers all over the world. Together, the associated companies of the VFBW intend to increase their local presence.

June 2009 - Chinese CIFU successfully commissions 6th DORNIER film stretching line
Company Zhejiang Euro-Asia Film Material Co., Ltd. (CIFU), one of the most outstanding polyester film producers in China has been producing on four DORNIER film stretching lines since the beginning of 2005. In May 2009 the second stage of expansion has been completed with the starting up of two additional lines.

June 2008 - 50,000th DORNIER rapier weaving machine delivered
It has established the international breakthrough of Lindauer DORNIER GmbH as a weaving machinery manufacturer: The DORNIER rapier weaving machine. Delivered for the first time in 1967, the 50,000th machine left our Lindau factory in April 2008.
January 2008 - a successful year 2007
The year 2007 was yet again successful for the Lindauer DORNIER GmbH, the worldwide renowned producer of air-jet and rapier weaving machines and special machinery.
October 2007 - Professional Elegance
"Vitale Barberis Canonico". A name as noble as the cloths produced here. The Vitale Barberis Canonico company recently started production on DORNIER machines.
Nevember 2008 - DORNIER film stretching lines - Great success in India
Audio, video and computer tapes, photo and X-ray films, graphic films, cinema films, electric insulation and packaging films … All these materials represent DORNIER technology.
2007 - on Historic Journey
